There are two mountain lions at the zoo named Santiago and Modjeska and they are siblings who were orphaned as cubs in Oregon in 2011. Mountain lions can weigh between 80 to 200 pounds. They are also the largest of the "small cats." They go by many different names depending on where a person lives, like cougar, puma, catamount, painter cat, or ghost cat. Mountain lions can leap horizontally 30 feet. They also have a heavy jawbone that has no backward or forward movement, which enables it to absorb the shock of impact while attacking prey.
