Day 70: Camel
Camels are known for their hump. The Arabian camel, also known as dromedaries, only has one hump. They do not store water in their hump; they store fat. They use this as an alternative energy source when food and water are scarce. Camels are well adapted to harsh climets and can travel up to 100 miles without water. A thirsty camel can drink as much as 30 gallons of water in about 13 minutes. Camels also eat whatever food is available; they will eat a variety of plants that is around them at the time.
