Day 69: Little Red Flying Fox
Little red flying fox bats are tree-dwelling bats that are excellent pollinators. Pollen attaches to their fur, which they distribute to the next tree. They can be found in different Australian environments such as swamps, mangroves, and bamboo stands. Their favorite food is from flowering Eucalyptus. They are nomadic and will roost where their favored flowers or fruits are in the season.
