Day 61: Pangolin
There are eight species of pangolin, four species are found in Africa and four are from Asia. They are covered in scales made out of keratin. They have poor vision, but use their sense of smell to find food. They use their long curved claws for digging into ant hills or for pulling bark off trees to get termites. They then use their long sticky tongue to lap up the insects. They have no teeth, so to help digest their food they have tiny pebbles as well as keratinous spines in their stomach to help with digestion.
