Day 49: Satin Bowerbird
This is probably the most detail orientated animal out there. Bowerbirds can be found in the island of New Guinea and Australia. Instead of showing colorful tail-feathers like peacocks they make elaborate structures on the forest floor to attract females. When a female arrives to his bachelor pad he struts and sings. Each bird builds a different bower, their bachelor pad, to his own unique taste. Some bowerbirds love the color blue, so they will collect anything blue, like blue shells and flowers or even straws and buttons that people leave behind. Some color their bower with bright red berries.
