Polar bears can be found in the Arctic and they are well adapted to their icy environment. They have slightly webbed feet for swimming and fur on their paws for protection from the cold ice. They also have thick white coats for camouflage. They also have black skin, by having black skin it allows them to soak in the suns rays better to get warm. They will typically catch seals and will wait in areas where seals will surface for air or at breathing holes. They can also take seals by surprise, they can stalk a seal who is basking in the sun and at about twenty feet away they quickly run at the seal and kill it before it can escape. Ice is very important both polar bears and the seals depend on it for survival.
