There are 60 different types of glass frogs and their name is dirived from the translucent skin on their bellies. This translusent skin exposes their heart and other organs. They can be found in the humid forests of Central and South America. Glass frogs are arboreal with means that they almost live explicitly in trees. They live about 10-14 years in the wild.
